Migrating settings from v1 to v2
One fundamental difference between campaigns in the old and the new UI is the way campaign level geo-, filter- and data targets are set. In the old UI, these settings where all available in the tabs "Geo & Data Targets" and "Filters".
In the new UI, we instead use Default Settings in Campaign Setup, where Geo Target, Filters and Audience objects are assigned to the campaign. These default targets will be used if no individual setting exists in a given Bid Strategy.
|Setting||Old UI (v1)||New UI (V2)|
|Campaign geo targeting||Campaigns / Geo & Data Targets||Setup / Default Settings / Geo Target|
|Campaign data targeting||Campaigns / Geo & Data Targets||Setup / Default Settings / Audience|
|Campaign filters||Campaigns / Filters||Setup / Default Settings / Filter|
To ease migration of old campaigns to the new UI, use the Migrate-button available in Default Settings in the new UI. The migration will create an audience, filter and geo object if not already existing, and assign as default settings.
NOTE: Once migrated, campaigns will cease to be visible in the old UI.
