This section describes in short what is needed to start buying mobile inventory via RTB. Mobile inventory is divided into mobile web inventory meaning impressions served on a mobile optimized site and in-app inventory.
Buying mobile inventory is very similar to buying other inventory via RTB although no rich media is allowed. The only supported file formats are GIF, JPG och PNG. You must select the ad type "Mobile Web / In-app" when creating your ad in ASX. By selecting a supply type in the RTB-targeting sections you can target your campaign on either in-app inventory or mobile optimized inventory if you wish to distinguish between the two.

In-app inventory currently consist of Windows Phone 7-apps and no mobile optimzed inventory is available. You could target your campaign even more by defining which mobile operating systems that should be allowed by setting the "Mobile OS"-targeting setting.
You need to set the attribute RichMediaCapabilityType: RichMediaCapabilityNonFlash on the adgroup. If you wish to target your campaing even finer you could set the "Device"- and/or "Mobile / Tablet Brand"-settings.
