Counting Unique Users (browsers)
ASX uses hyperloglog structures to store unique users Ids and count unique users. Unique users are counted for
- Campaign overview (Campaign total)
- Insights (Selected dates)
- Segments (Last 60 days)
- Cookie Groups (Last 60 days)
- Sites (Last 60 days)
- Site lists (Last 60 days)
- Audiences (Last 60 days)
Segments
The occurrence of users belonging to segments on sites is added at a 5 % sample rate.

Audience
Audience sizes are approximated based on activity on underlying segments and cookie groups. Audience sizes may therefore be bigger than estimated, as other targets (such as Data Lists) currently do not trigger an insertion of users in the structure.
Currently, the API endpoints used to estimate the presence of a given audience on a given site, is based on sets specific to each site and audience pair being populated with seen users as time progresses.
